Stromboli Night

I am so stinking lucky to have married into a sweet family! 

Truth be told this is the second time I have lucked out in that category but anyway...

Every Tuesday, K's family has stromboli night. 

We get together with his parents, his sister and her family. It is such a special time each week.

I always look forward to Tuesday nights.

This Tuesday something struck me a little, I am part of his family now.

I'm not their daughter in law, I am their daughter.  

His mother hugs me tight and his dad picks on me just as he does the others.

K's nephews call me Aunt L and it is makes my heart happy.

His sister has honestly became so much more than a sister in law, she is my sister and my friend.

So many families do not get together, let alone even sit together, 

for dinner weekly. We are so blessed to have this time.

I am very fortunate to have married the man of my dreams 

and into a family that is far better than I deserve.

Oh! The stromboli is pretty yummy too!
